Mono Monday : : Low Key

Of all the plants in the garden, this one is the most suited to a mono shot. it's an Agave Americana and has such distinct form and color. I'm always trying to photograph them and I like this low key mono shot.

Our wifi is out, the outdoor temperature is 95º and it's too hot outside to do anything except turn on the air conditioning and watch all the parts of the Tour de France that we haven't already seen. Dana came over to help resolve the plant placement issue and OilMan and I agreed that we would both do whatever she says.

From the way I write about it, one would think that this is a huge area, but one would be wrong. The whole plot is about 9' x 5'. But it was filled up with so many tools that it's hard to visualize. Dana moved all the tools out of the line of vision which made it a lot easier and also made me feel a lot better....

We will no doubt be up at the crack of dawn tomorrow to take advantage of the cool morning to get everything planted.
