Escape From Sector 7-G

Castle Rock

The journey down to London on LNER was horrendous as our train was cancelled and two trains worth of people were crammed onto one later train. I'm hopeful for a full refund.

However, the journey home on VirginTrains departed London and arrived in Edinburgh to the second. Not bad at all. We even squeezed in a visit to the British Museum near Euston in the morning.
( On the way home I managed to demolish 60% of a Stephen King paperback I bought at the station, maybe that's why I didn't notice the journey)

This is the view from the bus on our way back to the 'park and ride' where we left our car.

A splendid welcome home.
