Flowers along the banks

Sun and heat and trying to keep two kids happy. We went to a local cafe for a short time in the afternoon.

In the evening I went for a walk along the canal which is looking very summery and still tonight. Valerian and Meadow sweet  in full flower along the banks. Stopped to chat to a friend who is having a hard time, some people just don't get much luck.
