The Color Yellow

Dear Diary,

It seems to be the prevalent color in the garden right now but that's fine with me.  I've always liked this Vincent Van Gogh quote, "Yellow is capable of charming God."  It was his, Vincent's, favorite color (I suspect God loves all colors), his happy color which is saying a lot since the poor man was seldom happy.  Anyway, the Swallowtails are happy too and that makes me happy.  I liked the light on this one's wings.  It is raining now, which we need desperately, and we are heading into another awful heat wave.  Ugh!
