Bee fly?

some gardening, a visit to son to collect plants he'd been looking after (unfortunately some were eaten by snails but they would have probably succumbed here, too), some admin and a church leaders'meeting.
The day disappeared amd I almost forgot a pic.
I also tried to process more holiday pics but everything was on a go-slow and had to re-try blipping later and only had time for the holiday blip, so this one is late, too
