Admiring the wild flower meadow.

A whole heap duller today and not a glimpse of proper sunshine. At least the rain stayed off for most of the morning and let us get out and about a bit.
Our first stop was Linlithgow Loch. We did spot a couple of grebes with chicks but they were too far away for decent photography. We then drove up over the hill to Grangemouth where we had a good stroll round Zetland park. Surprisingly well maintained and the wild flower meadows were a joy to the eye.
Today’s extra is of the stunning poppies in front of the War Memorial.
