Another Day, Another Shopping Centre

Happy 2013!

Today most businesses are closed, of course, but the major department stores and supermarket chains opened from midday. Which meant there was an opportunity to get a good coffee. So ... off to the local "mega-mall" for a quick caffeine fix. It was quite odd there actually, as there were so few little shops open and so few people around.

This photo was taken standing in the middle of another coffee shop (not such good coffee as our favourite!), which wasn't open today, so I couldn't miss the opportunity for the angle! This looks up through the five floors of this centre, to the sky.

Today was a lovely summer's day in Sydney, quite warm and calm, sunny with clear blue skies - well a few wispy clouds only! If it's a predictor for the year, it's going to be a good one. Didn't go out much though, just pottered around the house and garden, and got a few chores done.
