Tricky bit, last bit. Job done.

Our younger son came back and got stuck in to the decorating again. Here he’s retouching a bit from yesterday.

It was nice to lift the floor protection covers etc and get Day 1of the Open on TV whilst we worked.

We also enjoyed a stop or two to chat to our other son and fiancé on holiday in Harris and Eriskay. He sent some great photos.

My wife and “the painter” moved the furniture back in whilst I tidied up and put away the painting stuff.

A busy week and good teamwork. Good and pleasing result. A wee bit of varnishing in the morning will finish the job off nicely.
