Misty

As is typical in the west of Scotland, we have had several seasons in one day. We left our mooring this morning in mist with choppy seas and a moderate wind blowing right on our nose as we sailed down Loch Linnhe. By the time we got to Port Appin in was lovely and sunny and the sea was like a millpond!

Now in Oban and the weather has closed in again, it’s raining and misty. The Veep has decided to abandon ship and will travel back to NI tomorrow by train and ferry. The Ards Man and I will meanwhile make our slower way home under sail.
