Border Tails

Avenue of trees

I had my first go on the East Lothian run today. Angus, the usual driver is on holiday and Duncan the current relief driver was covering the Glasgow run as Paul had a day off. All went very well, but I didn’t take many pictures. As I drove into Gifford, I saw a sign for toilets and drove along The Avenue, which leads to a big house. I loved the way the trees were framing the road.

I have to say I was very impressed with the public toilets, too. Clean, well stocked, hot water and a warm hand dryer. East Lothian Council win hands down over the Borders as it was also free!
