Butt of Lewis

We made it to the top and it did have an “edge of the world” feel to it. From there we could see seals, cormorants, fulmars, gannets of course, amongst others. The view of the rocks was amazing (extra) but I loved this little cove just a few metres away.
Having left our luggage at our accommodation, which we passed on the way, we made good time to the butt. The way back was slower, the wind was getting stronger and was against us. It ended up being a 60 miles day so we were glad to get back to our wee camping hut with glorious views.
