Sunflowers

This pot of sunflowers is doing really well (this is them less than 2 months ago https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2580103953878355157), over a foot tall and seeking the sun.  
But a similar pot (same batch of seeds, same compost, same pot, same regime EXCEPT they were started outside in the pot rather than in mini pots in the greenhouse for the first week or two) are less than half the size and looking manky.  Maybe they'll catch up ....  (but I reckon I'll start them all in the greenhouse next year!)
