Downtown Ilkley

Had imagined when l went into Ilkley today that The Grove would probably be my Blip for today as it is perhaps the most prestigious street in the town.
Decided to put that one in extras.
We had gone to the outdoor shop on Brook Street to get Mr P a new camel pack as he is going on a bit of a challenge with his friend Nick for the next few days.
More about that later no doubt.
While he was inside l thought l would take a few street scenes shots of what was readily available.
The one l have chosen is leading to the bus and train station so often a busy thoroughfare.
At the entrance is the Statzione Cafe which is definitely by far the most popular cafe for local Ilkley folk.
Excellent coffee, lovely staff and much cheaper than Bettys which l mentioned a couple of days ago.
Have to admit l like and use both cafes but neither are my favourite, that has to be Toast on Leeds Road.
