A Handy Transfer

Actually, a bit of a trawl, but I did navigate broken-down train engines and obscure-town transfers to reach Basel from Strasbourg where I collected my 'handy', as the Swiss and French in this area often refer to mobile phones. I had left mine in a restaurant a couple of days back and the waitress phoned Dd's number to help me locate it. Luckily, I was passing through today again. Funny to be without a phone for a while. Manageable in the short term, but not much longer! Dd is still in Strasbourg for a couple of days more.

This is the splendid canopy of Strasbourg Station.
