Lesson in patience

Got up early and sought out wildlife near the Washington arboretum....Not much going on...or so it seemed until I realized this magnificent heron was posing so still right amonst all the lily pads looking for food.  I was thankful to see the heron then headed on to my herbal dermatology apt.....still working on my skin issues and my surgical post op in the afternoon....it's a glorious day weatherwise!  That's a plus:)
