Raising the Roof

Mike and Elliott have spent most of the day removing the tiles and timbers of the roof on the other half of our building, in preparation for raising the height to the level of this half - and then covering the whole lot with insulated roofing - whenever it arrives (will be after Elliott leaves, but we have someone willing to help).

I started painting the gate, but it was hopeless, says on the tin that shouldn't paint in temperatures over 25C; it was around 40, and sure enough, the paint just dried instantly into a sticky mess before I could brush it out.

Gratefuls:
- the miracle of water to keep our trees alive
- seeing Deb and Zion (on FT), happy in their tent, on our church's BB and GB Camp
- eating an entire watermelon between us, so rehydrating
