On a knife-edge

A lovely, sunny day today. But back to work tomorrow. All day long I've been hovering between being in a good, "seize the day", "this is the youngest you'll ever be" sort of mood and a "feck, it's work tomorrow" mood.

This persisted right up to the choice of picture for today. It was either a moody, black and white picture of some water-filled ruts (complete with a "back in the rut" write up) or this.

So, bugger it, turn up the music and go with the sun-kissed Porsche shot!

There was a gathering of classic cars in the town square today. There was a bit of a traffic jam and they tried to direct the NickMog speedster into the display until I explained that I was trying to get to B&Q.

But, after loading up with paint and lightbulbs, C,M and I wondered down to look at the cars. Some great stuff there - from Bugatti Type 35 to, ahem, Austin Allegro. A couple of Sprites looked especially fetching as did this Porsche 356.

Morgans were ten a penny. Lucky I stayed away.
