TMB Day 3

We had half the ascent and descent of yesterday so it was easier, and both of yesterday's casualties managed it without too much difficulty!

Our guide Lotte is getting to know us and our walking habits, and we are getting into the routine..
 namely a fruit stop mid-morning and then two lunch stops, apart from all the water stops of course.  First lunch was at the Alp Bovine cafe restaurant where we enjoyed delicious fruit tarts. We also saw a lot of the glossy black d'herens cattle (extra 1) who apparently become quite argumentative amongst themselves as lunchtime approaches, and they were certainly beginning to square up to each other as we began walking this morning. 

The main is this morning's view of the Rhone valley, before we turned the corner and lost sight of it. The second extra is of the eggs at breakfast which I'd initially thought were tomatoes... Good idea, that if you're going to sell hard boiled eggs, they should be dyed. Saves getting confused and I've a friend who perhaps should consider the idea.....
