MonoMonday: Street Scene

For today's MonoMonday challenge, all I had time to come up with is this scene of the Street United Reform Church on the corner of the High Street in Street. It's typical of the numerous Victorian & Edwardian buildings in the town and, apart from services hosts a number of events including community coffee afternoons. I rather like it. (And, in an emergency, it's handily 30 seconds stroll from our back gate, if you need to blip it!)

The text on the right hand side of the notice board says " To know that you do not know is the beginning of wisdom" which may well be true but, if you know that you do not know, how can you be sure that you know that you do not know?

As predicted, we had a busy day with Sophie, having collected her from home at 7.30 this morning, we spent 3 hours at the outdoor pool, baked some bread, spent the afternoon playing in the garden then tonight Chris & I went to the Keep Fat end of term curry meal; 4 of us even managed to do Keep Fat beforehand!
