A simple salad of tomato, onion, cucumber, capers, some cubanelle pepper, and sometimes a bit of tuna, was my lunch nearly every day in my teens. Between the ages of 9-23 I spent much of my life in a small village in Majorca, where variations of this were a staple. So this is a favorite summer lunch for me. (Missing the peppers and capers today)
