Dubh

Last day of holiday and last back blip.
Ian took me and our belongings across the bay to the pier while Mr Rat drove the car round and Dubh (Black) came, too.
The family declared their island to be the independent knigdome of Islonia (from the daughters' names) and produce passports. Dubh often acts as border guard and greets you as you come off the bridge, escorts you to the front of the house - and then barks at you. He also loves going in the boat in the position shown.
We didn't go straight home but went for a walk round Loch Clair and Loch Coulin. There are classic views of the Torridon peaks (esp Liathach) form here but unfortunately there was a lot of cloud on them but we did get some good views. About 3 miles up the track is the farmhouse in teh extra which is now a holiday let.
Lunch in the garage cafe at Kinlohewe and an uneventful journey home.
