Canal day

Of all the days to spend on the canal today was the day!!!  34 degrees in the shade and much hotter in full sun!!  Today was the first proper trip on my daughters narrowboat.  She is touring out from London up the Grand Union Canal and l think this was somewhere near Watford.  So pretty.  The canal was pretty busy with boats mostly heading away from London so some of the pools were becoming a little shallow as the rivers top up some of the sections but not all.  
I left home before 9 am and didnt get home till 10.45 tonight and l am shattered.. up early for the painter once again tomorrow.. goodnight
