Stratford Butterfly Farm

A very hot Blipmeet at the Butterfly Farm where it is always hot,  but almost unbearable in current conditions.

We met Hildasrose and Rob,  StevenG and Gill,  Terrifo and SueJay who I am sure will have better butterfly pictures than my blurred collection of shots so I have blipped a beetle that I rather liked.

It's interesting that the butterflies tended to gather on flowers of the same colour (presumably for camouflage).   Thats presumably why the butterfly in my extra chose Jane's posterior as a good place to land.

A lovely wander round, including a trip on the chain ferry,  followed by a picnic lunch on the recreation ground and a boat trip up the river completed a lovely day
