Mrs Common Blue

I visited Gaddon Loch (Fife) today expecting to see many butterflies. Although it was hot, it was very humid and that seemed to be suppressing the urge to fly. I saw only a handful of meadow browns and ringlets. Then two male blues were spotted chasing each other into the distance, and this female.
However, the conditions didn't deter the 6-spot burnet moths which were seen in abundace, including mating pairs.
