Lunch light

The village fireworks last night were truly spectacular in spite of the financial crisis, but I forgot my camera when I climbed up four floors to our roof terrace and I didn't reckon I'd have time to go and fetch it before they ended. Doh! In any case, in spite of the spectaculacity (!) of the show I went downstairs to be with Jasper, who was trembling and panicky even though we'd turned the radio up very loud. He wasn't fooled at all poor lad.

Today we've been over to friends for lunch, and very nice it was too!
