Scorchio

Well that was hot one! I (Chris) really can't complain as it was another day in the air conditioned office but I did step out in the afternoon for quick walk for some cold drinks. Back home Annie worked for as long as possible in the heat, I'm amazed she did as the house was 30 degrees downstairs and hotter upstairs.  

After dinner, we headed out to see the sunset and once again found ourselves at Coombe Hill. By 9pm it was a thoroughly pleasant temperature up there and the view and heat was being enjoyed by more people than I've seen up there in some time.
