Love is the Answer

What a perfect day for Joe. I can't do it or him justice here to be honest. There was his beautiful wicker coffin, the Scottish flowers looked perfect; just as though we'd picked them from the garden and all the places he loved to walk.

The service was a real celebration of Joe's amazing life and was funny, with swearing, which he would have loved.

Then to the graveside where the sun was shining, the birds sang and the wind gently blew the leaves on the rowan tree beside Joe's grave.

Perfect words from the celebrant while a cellist played Gymnopédie No1.

Then poem:

'Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep.'

There was a whole lot of love out there for Joe as well as myself, Paul and Pip. It was special and beautiful.
