Picking Raspberries

The heat wave is here! We had to go walkies in the shade in the woods. I didn’t mind because there were plenty of raspberries there, and I just love picking my own berries. Nearly all the bilberries froze in May, so there aren’t any this year.

We took Grandma for a car ride in the afternoon, to get her out of her hot apartment. We went to the ice cream hut by the locks, and we had - ice cream! Yay! I’ve been wearing my cooling bandana most of the day and I quite like it. Grandma has borrowed it up until now, but mum got her her own today.
