Feeding station

I put some of Furbie’s wet food, and a couple of bowls of water out for my hedgehog visitors last night. They didn’t wake me again with their antics but this morning the food had gone. I’ll do the same again tonight.

I think word is spreading in the butterfly world. I had nearly double figures of Peacock butterflies, and even more varieties. As my four buddleia are now out, they have a choice.

Two Commas arrived, one decidedly beaten up and the other fresher and probably younger. Small Tortoiseshells again, and a couple of whites.

But my biggest poser was this glorious Red Admiral. It was as though he was saying, “Do my wings look good in this ? “
