All part of the story

View from the bench

I’ve changed my blip as we had the most wonderful sunset.
The view from the bench is now an extra.

I went to visit H this afternoon, and on my way back to the car I paused at the bench.

The view is across Loch Cuin, through a statuesque stand of Scots pine.  The warm mistral wind was blowing ripples up the loch towards the open sea.

Later, too late, S and I walked down below the house to look for butterflies. Because it was so windy they weren't flitting about quite so fast.  I think by the time we got down there it was a bit too late, so we only saw Meadow browns, and several unnamed Bees.
