The pretty white Convolvulus, also known as bindweed, has taken over this little unkempt garden.  It’s an invasive plant that rapidly climbs over others, smothering them and very difficult to eradicate.  The seeds can be viable for 20 years and the roots are estimated to be in excess of nine feet long so can be a major problem.    However here it appears as a sort of attractive “hanging basket” as it climbs up a lamp standard.
