11.59 - a moment in time

The camera was precariously perched on the sofa opposite, propped up with Little D's socks; time was ticking and I hadn't taken my pic for the day. The timer went off as the village bells started to chime. This is us - me, Rob, Clare and Dunc, about to hurtle into the year 2013 as Miss A and Little D slept peacefully upstairs, none the wiser. We couldn't think of a better way to have spent it, it was just perfect.

So farewell 2012, it's been a good year. Hard work in a lot of places but rewarding nonetheless. What is there not to be thankful for when we have two beautiful, healthy and happy children in our lives? Lets hope the new year brings with it new hope, new dreams, good health and lots of happy times.
