Fruit and veg on my mind

I'm very pleased to get out for a good walk today.

Golborne Road was extremely quiet. Hardly any traders, a few locals, no tourists.

Down at Portobello Green it was a different story. Many of the old traders have left to make way for stalls selling tourist tat. It's very sad for our local community. 

I found some kohlrabi which I need for my own work. It's a bit of a winter veg so I was lucky to find it. I need to use it before Monday when Spike and his daughter come back.
