We went over to LD's this afternoon to help with a couple of outside jobs and, of course, the weather was rubbish when we arrived. LH was glued to the rugby league Challenge Cup semifinal anyway for the first 1 1/2 hrs so the rain was only a lightish mizzle for the first job (fixing the garage roof) and had largely cleared for the second (re- cementing some loose block paving).  That was a definite division of labour which amused LD and I as we'd pretty much predicted it accurately!

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I did my bit by tackling a vast pile of ironing. I feel I've earned my Brownie points today.
