The world did not end. The world continues. On December 21 winter arrived. Spring, summer and autumn will follow. Birth and death, giving in marriage, taking in marriage, buying and selling, sunrises, sunsets, storms, winds, rain, snow and sunshine faithfully continue.

We walked around Shoal Island near the village of Crofton. From the island we saw the snow on Mount Brenton.
