Orchid

This is my new Leerdam orchid that I bought while down in Troon last week. Taking bets on how long it'll take me to kill it...

The portrait is a signed print by one of friend Anne's daughters, Jennifer Anderson, which was in the BP Portrait Awards several years ago.

Quiet day of dreich, muggy weather. Mabel refused to walk very far and has slept a lot, so I think all the walking on Gigha has tired her out.
