Staring at the sun.

As if by magic Winchester City Council must have heard about my concern for wild flower loss!!

To be completely fair lots of councils over recent years have been sewing patches of  annual wild flowers.

This is beside the River Itchen and Water Lane and is close to the city mill where I accompanied RF in her new role of camera cleaner as she cleaned flower dust and cobwebs from the CCTV cameras that record the otters and monitor the mill wheel.

After this we bought some items for lunch then started to do some gardening. There were some snowberry shrubs in one of her borders which came out and then I made a start on a native plum tree which was destined to come out.

All in all a great day spent in great company.
