things can only get better...

i've been under the weather since christmas. i've been feeling a bit better since the end of last week when i took a day off from work. it's been a slow heal, though, and the cough really leaves the throat feeling raw and painful. so i bit the bullet (with wife's insistent encouragement :>) and visited the er.

the folks at the er diagnosed my issue as bronchitis precipitated by the flu (i had previously gotten the vaccine) and it should clear up within a few days of taking the syrup and another med which they issued.

i was hoping for a more dramatic beginning photo for the start of the new year but you got to work with what you've got.
