Peace Lily

A symbol of the peaceful week I wish for myself! It probably won't be like that but I will try to remain calm and in low gear, and delegate where possible! I thought about trying this in mono but don't know how to do a double exposure so there wasn't much point for today.

I did go to work, and it was fine. The birthday girl got whisked off to Amsterdam by her boyfriend (a total surprise) just for the day, so they could have dinner at her favourite restaurant (before flying home and both working tomorrow). How romantic is that? Actually it was he who bought me this peace lily while visiting one particularly hectic weekend; he is very thoughtful.
