Cheese Monster

Lots of people grow the Cheese Plant indoors.

This magnificentMonstera deliciosa grows up a tree in the town centre here, climbing with its aerial roots and using the tree as a support (it's epiphytic, getting nutriment from rain, the air and plant debris.

I didn't know until I Googled it just now that you can eat those long fruits - apparently, the flavour's rather like pineapple.

Just had to pause while despatching a huge horrible spider which was staring down at me from the wall. {{{{shudder}}
