Improving the shining hour

Walking past the pond this morning before the heat kicked in. I heard them before I saw them. The bees . Taking a close-up including them was nigh on impossible. They dodged about coyly not wanting their pictures took. When a couple flitted about rather too near my face I gave up. Looking at the pics I see the backside of one caught accidentally is the best I can do. Did have a short chat with another lady passing by who  spoke about how we 'must look after our bees' . The message seems to have gone in. No idea what the flower is. It is growing in the pond.
