Steaming

Started transplanting the second batch of Autumn Viola this afternoon only to find the barn smelt like a brewery and the fresh load of compost we had had delivered earlier in the week was getting hot.Needed advice but at 4pm on a Friday it was impossible.Decide to spread the load out across the barn floor to try and prevent the heating getting out of control (fire risk). At elbows length into the stack it was 38C.Finaly had the manager of ICL message me at 11pm and I had done the right thing.Steam rising from the compost can be seen in the extra.

After spending an hour spreading the compost about I had just finished when the tyre came off the rim.End of a perfect day really.Used the tractor bucket to lift the front end up and soon had the wheel off.
