We were here first

We paid a visit to what might have been our little shangri-la in the village of Benaojan nestled in the mountains by the Guardiara River on the railway line between Ronda and Algeciras. You can’t really see the house from the street but it would be perfect for us with its own little garden. It’s still advertised as for sale, but we should have rented it when we had the chance, but the present residents, a Spanish Family, seem happily ensconced, and I am pleased for them. At least so I was told by the guard at the gate. The search continues.
