Look closely

We stumbled across this peaceful chap when walking along Tentsmuir Sands. Those of a nervous disposition should look away, otherwise, look closely. Despite that serene, almost smiling face, he is dead. There's nothing much left of his body other than his spine and pelt, and his almost perfectly complete head. There's no smell, no blood, no distress visible. Just the natural process of returning to the elements.
