Long Lie

Presumably after a late night this well camouflaged Toad had chosen his sleeping quarters carefully, under a wheelie bin, and was deserving of a lie-in.

All was well until the lady of the house decided to sweep the bin area to clear up fallen leaves. The toad was completely and almost totally indistinguishable among the brown leaves.

The picture was taken shortly afterwards as the toad once again pretended to be as still as a leaf while taking on the colours of the mottled concrete path edging.
