A short street in Kirkwall

A very early blink of sun and then a blanket of greyness. Across to see my Mum and I went to the library for her. The librarian tells me my Mum has gone right off Lee Childs. She now looks for Barbara Vine. But not Tony Gubba - for few can make that leap.

In other news the Current Mrs Creel claimed back the living room cupboard and the whisky is now in the air lock.

I later bought a pressie for CMC's birthday; I thought I'd get change out of a half crown. That's the last time I send off to the Exchange and Mart.
