Tortoiseshell

Been looking at the local buddlejas that are over fences from folks' gardens as there has been an increase of butterflies after the thunderstorms.

There have been loads of painted ladies over the last few days. This one is a small tortoiseshell butterfly, on the same bush there was a peacock butterfly & a few painted ladies.
