We're currently watching the second Democratic debate, with the second group of ten participants--to me it seems more engrossing than last night.   It's hard to believe that it's still 15 months until the 2020 presidential election.  The Europeans who are aware of this must think we're crazy.  I think of Britain, where the electoral period is just a few weeks.
