Red, red, red

Six beautiful fully open blooms on one stem, this rose climbs over the front of the customer's house. It is a fantastic plant and the flowers age perfectly, they don't drop petals just dry to a dusky, bluey crimson, if only I knew it's name.

Nearly 8 years of looking after this garden and today I was told that the Cockspur Hawthorns which line an area between the house and barn were intended to be square lollypops not the more natural shape I've kept them in so I have started reshaping them. This is a challenge which will take time!

Due to her train running late I was able to collect RF despite having arranged some extra work after my usual Wednesday, who says the universe doesn't provide?
