Trampers Tales

Looking out from our shepherd's hut over the roof of the Craven Arms and the Yorkshire dales beyond. Had a lovely couple of days and the weather was not too bad considering the flooding and devestation that took place a few miles away at Reeth.
Made a second attempt at visiting Malham Cove today. First one was aborted due to rain starting as soon we got to the car park before taking the 1 mile walk to the Cove. Our second try was also not to be, my wife became ill halfway and we took refuge at a farm shop till she felt better. So we decided not to chance it and turned and headed for home, Malham Cove has been there for many years and will still be there for many more, so we'll try another day.
